Luxury new venue in Bath: The Porter, this renovated venue in Bath is unlike many other social meeting places in town. With four floors to choose from including exclusive craft beers, a sophisticated wine bar, food from Michelin star chef: Rob Clayton and plenty of other features, make sure you take it on good recommendation to wine, dine or simply eat cake at The Porter. 

Being such a wonderfully inspirational venue with much character, I will be hosting an exclusive fashion event very soon. Watch this space - in the meantime, read what Bath Life have to say about it:

Saturday Style: A good old knit!

After growing up in the 80's in what I thought were 'cool' jumpers, sweaters and homemade knits, during the late 90's and early 00's I did everything possible to avoid them. Now time has moved on I can't get enough of them again. I hate being cold and often layer up for style and comfort so a good old sweater/knit/jumper is a wardrobe staple item. 

Far from my style in the 80's I don't like to play safe and because I have short hair prefer a little more statement around the neckline so a collar or statement necklace makes something that could like quite boring a little more stylish. 

So when I saw this little beauty from a lovely boutique I discovered a few years ago on the Kings Road, London: Austique, I'm in cashmere heaven.

On good advice from another top stylist friend of mine; Karen Lowe, I was encouraged to watch C4 Doc: Fabulous Fashionista's, if you haven't seen it, it's a must and features the much talked about and highly admired local fashionista: Jean Woods. Such an inspiration to many and wonderful lady, here featured in Bath Life:

Celeste have recently toured with Aled Jones across the UK in their fantastic outfits from Jigsaw.

Lighter Life photo shoot: Behind the scenes

Recently, a couple of the TiCC team and I took part in a fabulous photo shoot with 4 lovely ladies who have lost a total of 26 Stone with the diet plan: Lighter Life.

Mel, Kim, Lisa and Nicky were all a joy to work with and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being pampered before posing in front of the camera for Lighter Life's magazine...

Mel; below left is a beautiful curvy hourglass figure with a generous bust that she is happy to show in a demure way. This Phase Eight dress flattered her curves perfectly, covered her bust with the print in all the right places at a respectable length. 

Lisa; Below right has a slender figure of which she knew this simple black dress would look and feel good with a little help from her stylists adding a few accessories.

Kim; Below left is slightly more generous on the thighs, but in these wider fitting tailored trousers from Next and chiffon blouse, you can see how both are perfectly suited to her new figure

Nicky; Below right has a shape perfect for a figure hugging dress....again, Phase Eight didn't disappoint!
