Being a mum for the third time isn't as hard as it seems 😉
After the hardship that goes in to motherhood for the third time, my absolutely adorable other half decided I needed a little treat whilst out on an unexpected shopping trip. Who am I to argue?

Choristers Celeste styling the show in Coast
Did you see these girls in their #Coast Dresses looking super stylish?
Choristers and all round lovely ladies Celeste looking super stylish in their Coast maxi dresses very kindly supported by the brand for their recent tour with Katherine Jenkins.
The brief: To find something suitable for the girls body shape, personality, appropriate for Celeste's audience and complimentary to Katherine Jenkins. We wanted to express the girls five different personalities, so I opted for colours that worked with their tones, considering they stand in order together - the colours had to compliment each other too.
It's a tough brief to satisfy five girls and their management but we were all delighted how Celeste look in these dresses, perfect for the party season too - if you're inspired take a look: Coast Maxi Dresses
Ta-da! Backstage - before their performance at Westonbirt Arboretum
Don't forget to check out their latest tour dates and locations, download their music and keep up to date here:

A charity that really makes a difference to people's lives
For those who know me well, know that I don't often commit to these kind of posts and very selective with the charities I would consider donating to, but have taken a long time to consider how my work, psychological interests and desire to protect children from cruelty can be utilised to benefit others.
I’m a firm believer that we start as we mean to go on and giving children a good start in life often helps create safe, secure and positive adulthood so I would like to dedicate some of the time I have to one charity I believe can make a big difference: The Kids Co I've offered to volunteer for this amazing charity that makes a big difference to young people and hoping the time I can contribute will make a difference to someones future.
If any of you feel the way I do about children and their future take a look at their website/twitter/facebook and perhaps you can help too? It's not just about financial donations, it's how we can make a difference to someones life #platepledge #makeadifference @kidscompanyuk
I've also just pledged a meal for a vulnerable child at http://www.kidscoplatepledge.org
If you don't want to contribute directly, give me a shout - there may be ways we can offer something together as a business or individual, I'm not the kind of person that will tediously rant on about this, but if you have an interest, let me know.

Do you know Dr Rose & Co? #AutumnChappedLips rescue remedy!
If you don't - you should!
When I worked in London with various buyers and retailers up and down the country building brands such as #FrenchConnection & #SoShei lingerie, I came across a lovely lady to the name of Dr Caroline Rose, at the time - her store in Leeds was beyond anything you would see on the High Street - a totally inspirational, cosy and inviting traditional style apothecary.
I also had the great pleasure of sampling her products - one product of which I'm delighted she introduced me too and still use to this day.
The Rose Petal Salve is literally as described - a magical little balm. I personally use it for dry, chapped lips - which so many other high street products really don't help. I do suffer from dry lips in the winter and detest the feeling so this has always been one of my favourites, I urge you to try it!
For £5, it's not your high street average but it's amazing properties work wonders and will last you such a long time because you don't need to use it as much. You can buy online and various retailers across the country, but if you have the opportunity to visit their store in Haworth, West Yorkshire - that's a must too. And tell Dr Rose I said hello!

M&S Baby all over again...
If you're broody, have a young one, expecting a baby or know someone who is - take a look at
Marks & Spencer's new baby launch.
Weds1st October see's this little face on the pages of M&S and in stores across the country. Expecting my third, I'm not tired of doing this all over again. It's still exciting looking at all the tiny clothes, wonderful interiors and latest crazes since the last time.
However, trusting quality not forgetting good value I'm impressed by the pages I've been privileged to have a preview of from M&S's latest baby launch.
A little preview and a few of my favourites below:

Hair chop with Melanie Giles!
I recently had the privilege to get a new hair chop in the wonderful salon that is Melanie Giles. As her third salon venture after Bath & Frome I was certainly not disappointed walking through these doors in Bradford-on-Avon.
Not only is the interior a stylishly understated, uber calming and welcoming environment, its a place that means a lot to Melanie's team since they all played a part in putting it together.
Now, being a previous customer of a stylist I have been happy with for at least 16 years, this was a step out of the comfort zone! But one I was willing to take for a change. And again, there was certainly no disappointment. The very talented Lisa asked few questions before she understood the style I was looking for and created magic with perfection using a product I'm a big fan of: Aveda
Pampered with welcoming conversation, a little Aveda tea treat, a wonderfully created Cappuccino and much needed head & shoulder massage plus a stylish haircut I left in the capable hands of Lisa, there is no doubt I would recommend this salon whether you want a simple cut, super creative barnet, a cup of tea, catch up with friends, amazing hair product or even more of a pampering upstairs in their very open, fresh and delightful beauty area.
After much conversation with Lisa, I discovered graduate Ben was in need of a model for an up and coming hair competition with Aveda. Who am I to stop someone in their dreams?! Jumping at the chance to let Ben create whatever takes his fancy with my hair (Aarrgghhh - what have I done?!) I have agreed to take part in the competition for him on Thursday 10th July.
Watch this space - I'm sure you'll see more!
So, make sure you check the Melanie Giles salon out. You can simply pop in for coffee and a few delicious treats or browse the amazing array of Aveda product but whatever you need, you have it under one roof!

Miracle dress under £50?!
Good housekeeping magazine is one of my favourites, they never fail to provide good reading and inspiration from cover to cover. Of course I'm an avid fan of their fashion and style features too, particularly this one where they try and test the best dresses to give you shape and style: the miracle dress!
I'm often encouraging clients to read features like this, specifically since this one proves you don't always have to buy designer for great quality and style and you can look good whatever your shape or size
